Una noche mágica la que se vivió en St James’ Park con una lluvia de goles que marcó el regreso del Newcastle United a la Championship league para enfrentar al PSG.

Desde el inicio del juego Newcastle dejó claro que quería los 3 puntos y al minuto 17 abrirían el marcador con gol de Miguel Almirón, al 39 ampliarian su ventaja con gol de Dan Burn para irse al descanso con la ventaja de dos goles.

El segundo tiempo iniciaría con el equipo inglés enfocado al ataque y obtendrían su recompensa pues al minuto 50 Sean Longstaff pondría el 3-0, el equipo de París realizó algunos ajustes que permitirían recortar la distancia con gol de Lucas Hernández al 56, para el final del partido Fabian Schar mandaría el balón al fondo de las redes para poner cuarto gol en el marcador.

El juego terminaría 4-1 para Newcastle United el marcador apretaria el grupo que no tiene nada claro para nadie.
